Get ready for the first stage of an unforgettable adventure! We’ll depart from the vibrant city of Logroño and head into the heart of the Sierra de la Demanda. You’ll pedal through the historic lands of Daroca de Rioja and Nájera, the birthplace of kings and monasteries, before the scenery begins to transform. The route takes you through the forests surrounding Anguiano, and from there, the final climb to the Monastery of Valvanera will be your ultimate challenge. You’ll cover kilometers full of pure adrenaline, passing through the picturesque villages of Montenegro de Cameros and crossing into the neighboring province of Soria to explore the pine forests surrounding Vinuesa and Covaleda. A demanding stage, but one that rewards you with panoramic views and the feeling of having conquered one of northern Spain’s most beautiful routes.

The stage ends in the walled town of Laguardia.
