Itinerary
Day 1: Logroño – Santo Domingo (45 km)
Immersion in the Camino de Santiago
Your adventure begins at the symbolic Fuente de Murrieta in Logroño, the starting point for thousands of pilgrims. You’ll pedal along the same paths traveled for centuries, through vineyards and cereal fields, leading you to Santo Domingo de la Calzada. Feel the magic of the Camino de Santiago and let yourself be carried by the atmosphere of this ancient route.

Day 2: Santo Domingo de la Calzada – Laguardia (55 km)

Today you enter the heart of Rioja Alavesa. From Santo Domingo, the route first takes you to San Vicente de la Sonsierra to visit Teodoro Ruiz Monge winery. Then to Elciego, where the modern architecture of the Marqués de Riscal Winery, designed by Frank Gehry, stands like a sculpture amid the sea of vineyards. After the visit and tasting, enjoy a well-deserved meal in the walled town of Laguardia. You’ll feel transported back in time in this medieval village, a true gem.

From Santo Domingo, you’ll cycle to Cordovín to visit Bodegas Florentino Martínez, a family winery showcasing their passion for signature wines. The route then takes you to San Millán de la Cogolla, home to the Suso and Yuso Monasteries, a UNESCO World Heritage site where the first words in Spanish were written.
