Day 1: Logroño - Santo Domingo

Pilgrims through Logroño

  • Distance: 48 km

  • Description: A gentle start following in the footsteps of pilgrims. Leave Logroño behind and immerse yourself in the famous Camino de Santiago, a tapestry of vineyards and dirt paths that will guide you to your base in Santo Domingo de la Calzada.

Day 2: Santo Domingo - San Millan de la Cogolla

The Hidden Monasteries

  • Distance: 50 km (round trip)

  • Description: Leave the main route to venture into the Sierra de la Demanda. Ride along forest tracks until you reach the historic Monasteries of Suso and Yuso, the cradle of the Spanish language. A day of history and nature with a fast and exciting return.

Day 3: Santo Domingo - Yermo Camaldulense de Ntra. Sra. de Herrera

The Challenge of Silence

  • Distance: 60 km (round trip)

  • Description: Get ready for one of the toughest climbs of the tour. The ascent to the Yermo Camaldulense is a challenge for your legs, but the reward is 360-degree views and the absolute peace of this sacred place.

Day 6: Santo Domingo de la Calzada - Belorado

The Secret of the Holly Forest

  • Distance: 70 km (round trip)

  • Description: A different kind of day. Leave the vineyards behind and ride towards the heart of the Acebal de Ezcaray, a magical and dense holly forest that will make you feel as if you’ve entered another world. A mountain track route that leads you to the charming village of Valgañón.

Day 5: Santo Domingo de la Calzada - Cruz De la Demanda

The Conquest of La Demanda

  • Distance: 90 km (round trip)

  • Description: The highlight of the trip. Today you face the ascent to the Cruz de la Demanda. A brutal and glorious climb that will test your endurance. The views from the summit, spanning three autonomous communities, will be your greatest trophy.

Day 4: Santo Domingo de la Calzada - Acebal

A Journey into the Medieval Past

  • Distance: 44 km (round trip)

  • Description: The last day is all about enjoying without rushing. Return to the Camino de Santiago towards Belorado. A relaxed ride along flat paths to savor the final kilometers, soak in the medieval history of the area, and celebrate completing the adventure.
